Nidec BR12S2AC3 – Definite Purpose Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) Motor FCR Series Brakemotor is designed for applications requiring manual release, brake torque adjustments, and high cycling, such as bulk material handling equipment, conveyors, cranes, and hoists. It features Class F insulation, a pressure die-cast aluminum alloy frame, and oversized non-regreasable ball bearings. The motor has a high braking torque with a 180-volt DC brake coil and an included rectifier. It operates with a 1.15 service factor at 60 Hertz in 40°C ambient conditions for continuous duty. Additional features include an easily adjustable air gap and compatibility with multiple voltage settings: 60 Hertz at 208-230/460 volts and 50 Hertz at 380 volts with a 1.0 service factor.
